1The machine’s usage and characteristics

HL type bucket elevator is a kind of ring chain centrifugal bucket type lifting machine,Hoist system is composed by running part with a drive sprocket of the upper section, the lower section with a tensioning sprocket, intermediate casing driving device,  and non-return braking device. The hopper of this of this bucket elevator is discontinuous, and using " dredge method" for loading, used" centrifugal feed" method for discharging. The machine is suitable for conveying powder, granular and small block of wear resistance and wear resistance materials, such as coal, sand, broken ore, cement etc. Because the traction Mechanism are annular chain, so it is suitable to transport high temperature material too. 

HL type bucket models are HL160, HL250, HL300 etc..

Transportation volume is 7 ~ 25m3 / hour; lifting height is in 4.5 ~ 30 meters range.

II. Usage and maintenance

Bucket elevator should be empty load to start drive. So every time before stopping the machine should be drained all the material inside the hopper, then stop, cannot do invert revers, if do, the chain may derailment, to exclude the derailment fault is very troublesome. Uniform feeding. It is ban to increase the feeding quantity in a sudden. Feed amount can not exceed the machine’st transportation capacity. Otherwise it will lead to “stuffy car’’ accident if the material in the bottom accumulated too much.

Bucket elevator’s working principle is like this:  material is scooped out from the storage by the hopper, along with the conveyor belt or chain lift up to the top, bypassing the top wheel turned downwards, dumped into the receiving groove.

If the material is too much in the base during the work process, digging resistance is too large, it will lead to a skid or stop working, the reasons for this phenomenon are below:

Re-Injection flow is too large, so that the material in the hoist can not completely flow to discharge pipe and return to base, the base material is increasing and causing blockage, solution is to reduce reflux.

Uneven feeding, increase or reduce suddenly. When the feeding is too much, feeding amount is bigger than the amount of lift, so that the base material is surplus and accumulation, the material in the base increase, the hopper’s running resistance is gradually increased, when it reach a certain extent, it can be skidded, and can also cause downtime or motor burnout. So please strictly control feeding quantity, no-load  when start the machine, open the feeding gate gradually.
